First I need to thank stackoverflow and all its energetic members to create stackoverflow a beautiful question reply web site. I are battling a whole time to shape out rsyslog message signing.
Jun 14, 2018 - Changing to systemd-syslog source, which supports socket activation. Syslog.socket: Socket service syslog.service not loaded, refusing. Systemd: remove syslog.socket references from service file #316. Changes from all commits. Systemd: remove syslog.socket references from service file ihrwein Oct 16, 2014. Systemd: use Type=notify in service file ihrwein Nov 27, 2014. Filter file types. Syslog-ng(8) Requires=syslog.socket Service Type=notify.
I have always been operating on a CENT0S 7 operating program. The program and its logging was operating correctly since last night. Due to information center concern the server has become rebooted by the hosting company last evening and produced my server signing daemon to unstable position.
Today there are usually following log documents at /var/record listing. These documents are provided below.1. /var/log/cron2. /var/journal/maillog3. /var/log/messages4. /var/log/secure
Now rsyslog is certainly not writing any journal information to any of the above log documents. I researched the web a lot but i actually did not find any ideal solution. I think this can be happening for unix socket. I feel getting the below output for command:
'systemctl standing syslog.sockét'
sysIog.socket - Syslog Outlet Loaded: loaded (/usr/lib/systemd/system/syslog.socket; stationary) Active: inactive (deceased) Docs: man:systemd.particular(7) http://www.freedesktop.org/wiki/Software/systemd/syslog Listen: /run/systemd/journal/sysIog (Dátagram)
Aug 12 14:56:31 machine1 systemd1: Starting Syslog Outlet. August 12 14:56:31 machine1 systemd1: Socket service syslog.sérvice not loaded, réfusing. August 12 14:56:31 machine1 systemd1: Failed to pay attention on Syslog Socket.
Be aware: rsyslog daemon can be running correctly. See below for rsyslog standing
rsyslog.sérvice - Program Logging Service Packed: loaded (/usr/lib/systemd/system/rsyslog.service; allowed) Dynamic: energetic (operating) since Get married 2015-08-12 16:04:08 IST; 33min ago Major PID: 145 (rsyslogd) CGroup: /program.cut/rsyslog.service '-145 /usr/sbin/rsyslogd -n
Please help me to troubleshoot the concern.

Aftér a deep research i discovered the problem with imjournal.state file. imjournal.state file holds the state of newspaper control service. In REHL the program messages are usually actually managed by record control service. Rsyslog service functions like a transporter between journal service and /var/journal index and it transports log messages to sign directory files. To resolve the said issue I possess implemented the adhering to steps.
Now rsyslog service can pull log communications from record website directory and can write it to particular log file. You may restart the device as well if only restart does not function.
